… De negatieven worden in allerhoogste resolutie gescand en vervolgens digitaal omgezet middels een high-end Imacon en afgedrukt op Hahnemühle Fine Art papier; het contrastrijke Fine Art Baryta 325gsm of naar keuze het iets zachtere Foto Rag Baryta pearl 315gsm. De buitenmaten zijn 61 x 46cm (A2), de afdrukmaten ca. 36 x 56cm, afhankelijk van de definitieve, gecentreerde uitsnede. … Freddy Rikken was van 1974 t/m 2012 staffotograaf/freelance schrijver van het NRC-Handelsblad. Fotografeerde voor onder andere KLM, Sabena, Transavia, De Tijd, de ministeries van Justitie, Binnenlandse Zaken en Cultuur, schreef over sport, automotive en luchtvaart, publiceerde proza bij de uitgeverijen De Arbeiderspers, De Bezige Bij en Thomas Rap. Zijn werk werd tentoongesteld en aangekocht door musea, kunstuitlenen en particulieren. Het voornamelijk zwart/wit archief herbergt meer dan 12.000 opdrachten.

Outer dimensions are 59 x 42cm (A2), the print is approx. 56 x 36cm , depending on the final image size. The print has a 5cm-wide white border to facilitate framing, with the written title and the name of the photographer. Various sizes available on request. The finished print has a museum-quality appearance and longevity.

… Freddy Rikken was staff photographer/freelance writer for NRC Handelsblad from 1974 to 2010. Photographed and wrote about sports, the automotive industry and aviation for KLM, Sabena, Time, the Departments of Justice, Culture and Home Affairs and published prose and photobooks with the Dutch publishers De Bezige Bij, De Arbeiderspers and Thomas Rap. His work has been exhibited and purchased by museums, art rental galleries and private collectors. His mostly black-and-white archive comprises more than 12,000 assignments.
